Clinic Nurse

Dr. Stasch Clinic & MediSpa is seeking a dedicated Clinic Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional care and supporting both clinical and administrative operations.

Job Summary:

As a Clinic Nurse, you will collaborate closely with our Consultants, providing holistic, patient-centered care. Your role will involve assisting in procedures, supporting wellness treatments, and ensuring the highest standard of care in line with the clinic’s vision of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care

  • Deliver exceptional care to patients ensuring comfort and positive outcomes.
  • Assist in pre-and post-operative care, including patient education, medical evaluations, pre-op preparations, wound care, and follow-ups.
  • Administer cosmetic treatments such as PRP and other minimally invasive procedures following clinic protocols.
  • Educate patients about skin health, post-treatment care, and long-term wellness to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Provide support for patients enrolled in weight-loss programs, including injection administration and monitoring progress under clinical protocols.

Support for Consultants

  • Assist consultants during consultations, procedures, and minor surgeries, ensuring seamless coordination and patient flow.
  • Prepare surgical and treatment rooms with the necessary equipment, ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and compliance with infection control standards.
  • Act as a liaison between consultants and patients, ensuring clear communication and coordination of care plans.

Wellness and Lifestyle Support

  • Provide assistance with wellness services such as IV drips and related therapies.
  • Support patients undergoing programs for lifestyle changes, including weight loss, fitness, and overall wellness, as outlined by the clinic.

Administrative Duties

  • Greet patients, ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs, and manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and maintain consumable and medical supply inventories, placing orders as necessary to avoid disruptions in service delivery.
  • Compile, update, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clinical tasks, administrative workflows, and patient care.

Training and Development

  • Train new team members and ensure compliance with the clinic’s standards of care and operational excellence.
  • Pursue continuous learning by attending professional development workshops, conferences, and internal training sessions.

Compliance and Ethics

  • Uphold the clinic’s high standards for patient confidentiality, professional conduct, and ethical decision-making.
  • Report and address patient concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring resolution aligns with the clinic’s commitment to patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification

  • Registered Nurse qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Valid licensure with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory, while Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare facility, with exposure to plastic surgery, dermatology, or cosmetic treatments being an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills to provide compassionate, patient-centered care and education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, with a proactive approach to solving challenges.

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, body treatments, and the latest aesthetic trends. Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build long-term client relationships.

1. Patient Coordination & Communication

2. Front Desk & Facility Management
